How do I change my profile picture?

In case you have a new profile picture, then send it to me so that I can change it for you in your profile.

Please note the following guidelines for the profile picture:

For your profile we need a nice & expressive photo of you in the style of a job application picture. From my own experience, I recommend that you have a professional photo taken by a photographer. I have made the experience that the first contact with customers is more successful with VPAs with a professionally created by a photographer, than by a self-made. If you don’t currently have an application picture available and don’t have a photographer – here are a few tips on how to create a good picture yourself and what is important for us so that we can use it.

1. NO selfies – should be obvious! Better safe than sorry 😉
2. Resolution: Use a camera with at least 12 megapixels
3. Background: use a neutral (preferably white) background and stand about 30 cm away from it to get the right effect. Make sure you have the right lighting conditions.
4. Clothing: Dress for the photo in a business casual look – not too casual!
5. Position: Position yourself slightly sideways to the camera and turn your face frontally to the lens. Let your arms hang loosely or place them on your hips. Show your friendly and honest smile.
6. Photo finishing: Your picture should be 35 cm x 24 cm. This has given us the best results so far. Skin blemishes and pimples can be retouched discreetly. However, you should not be able to see in retrospect that they have been touched up. Free tools for image editing are e.g. GIMP or JPG-Illuminator (very easy to use).
7. Format: JPG file

Unfortunately, we cannot accept pictures that do not meet our requirements.
