Häufige VPA Fragen
Do I risk my task fee if the task is not fully documented in the task chat?
Yes! Using a case from the my-vpa community, I would like to explain to you why you should definitely protect yourself with complete documentation in the task chat:
One of your my-vpa colleagues had accepted changes to a task description from the customer via Skype chat over several weeks and worked on the task accordingly. After completing the task, the customer complained about the result not matching his original task description in the task chat. Unfortunately, the VPA had not documented the change requests according to which he had worked on the task in the task chat and thus there was legally no other option but to deduct the complained fee from the VPA. Screenshots from the Skype chat did not help afterwards, since the individual contract between you as the VPA and the customer is exclusively established in our app. Annoyingly, the VPA lost a lot of money as a result.
Therefore, please note: each task represents an individual contract between you and your assigned customer. This individual contract is only formed in the task chat. This is why it is so important to fully document the task in the task chat.
So for your own protection, always make sure that all task-related details are recorded in the task chat. Especially if your customer is communicating with you outside of our app or if you discussed the task over the phone. If not all information is recorded in the task chat, your clients are entitled to a full refund.
So a task not properly documented in the task chat can cause you to lose your entire fee, and unfortunately there is nothing we can do for you in the event of a complaint. For this reason, we have also committed ourselves in the Community Guidelines to a high quality standard and a complete task documentation in the task chat.
