What do I do if a customer wants to work with me directly & bill me privately?

You have been working with your customer for a long time and he is very satisfied with your work. Therefore, it may happen that a customer asks you if you would like to work for him in addition to my-vpa and bill him directly. This is tempting in certain cases, but will cause big problems if you accept.

The reason: a direct cooperation with the customer is contractually excluded. Because if you accept, then unfortunately there is no way back and we MUST take legal action as my-vpa, since our entire business model is based on it.

How can you respond professionally to your customer’s request? “No, unfortunately I can’t do that as we both have a contract with my-vpa which excludes that”.
